Accounts Payable/Receivable Officer - Caboolture

Purpose

We are currently seeking an experienced Accounts Payable/Receivable Officer to join our team. Reporting to the Director and General Manager, you will play a vital role in our team; heading up all things Accounts Payable/Receivable. This is an exciting time in our business as we continue to grow and welcome new customers to the Austrack Family.

Job Tasks and Responsibilities:

• Responsible for Accounts Payable Reconciliations
• Responsible for Accounts Receivable
• Assist with the organization and maintenance of the company’s financial records
• Coding purchase order invoices
• Monthly supplier statement reconciliations
• Develop vendor relationships including resolution of queries
• Responsible for monthly financial reports
• Any other duties as required by management

Role

You will be responsible for managing Accounts Payable/Receivable for Austrack Campers and for providing a five-star service experience to our suppliers and internal stakeholders. You will play a pivotal role in helping Austrack Campers deliver winning outcomes for everyone.

Full training in our products will be provided, however you will need to be motivated, energetic and proactive. 

You will be the contact for:

• All team members across the company
• Supplier Enquiries 

You will be expected to:

• Manage the day-to-day operations of our accounts payable/receivable division.
• Operate our preferred accounting system – Xero.
• Operate our preferred CRM - ZOHO.
• Be based at our head office in Caboolture Monday to Friday.

Must haves:

• 3 years minimum experience in an Accounts Payable/Receivable role
• Must have a minimum 2 years experience using Xero.
• Great communication skills are mandatory.
• Excellent phone manner.
• High-level multi-tasking skills.
• Able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• A team player who is able to work collaboratively and build effective relationships both internally and externally.
• Have the ability to follow existing procedures and implement new protocols.
• Excellent people skills.
• Have great attention to detail.
• Must be computer literate and competent using the Microsoft Suite and Google Suite. 
• Ability to work autonomously and unsupervised.
• Are looking for a long-term position.
• Be proactive and self-motivated.

Nice to have:

• Demonstrated experience within the 4WD, caravan and camping industry will be highly considered but is not essential. If you love to travel, that’s a plus.
