About the role
As the Accounts Receivable Specialist at JMT Civil, you will play a crucial role in managing the company's accounts receivable processes. This full-time position is based in our Gregory Hills, NSW office and involves overseeing all aspects of our customer billing and collections, ensuring timely payment and maintaining strong relationships with our valued clients.

What you'll be doing

• Invoicing customers in a timely and accurate manner
• Proactively following up on outstanding payments and liaising with clients to resolve any billing issues
• Maintaining detailed records of all accounts receivable activities and generating reports for management
• Identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance the efficiency of the accounts receivable function
• Providing excellent customer service to clients and responding to inquiries promptly
• Collaborating with the wider finance team to ensure seamless financial operations

What we're looking for

• Relevant experience in accounts receivable or credit control, preferably within the construction or civil engineering industry
• Strong attention to detail and excellent numeracy skills
• Proficiency in accounting software and spreadsheet applications
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with clients
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team to meet deadlines
• A customer-focused attitude and commitment to providing high-quality service
