Accounts Receivable Officer

Short Summary:

Reporting to the Financial Controller, this position is a six-month fixed term and part-time contract role, to assist the Magentus Practice Management finance team. The role will also have a high level of interaction with customers and key internal stakeholders.

What about the role:

• Processing of outgoing customer invoices and collections
• Reconcile accounts receivable ledger and assist with bank reconciliations
• Follow up on overdue customer accounts and contact to request payment
• Review, investigate and take appropriate action for unallocated payments or customer credits
• Provide quality customer service and assist customers with enquiries in an efficient, positive and professional manner
• Provide assistance to other team members to ensure a prompt response to all customer enquiries and other related duties as required or assigned

What experience or qualifications do I need:

• Relevant tertiary qualifications and exposure to Salesforce, NetSuite and Microsoft Dynamics is highly desirable
• Demonstrated extensive experience (3+ years) in a high-volume accounts receivable role
• Previous collections experience, and the ability to build good relationships with customers to ensure the accounts are kept up to date
