Due to continued growth, they are seeking an Accounts Receivable Officer to join their finance team on a permanent, full-time basis.

The Role

Reporting to the Accounts Receivable Team Leader, you will join a collaborative finance team responsible for managing high-volume receivables transactions within a structured and fast-paced environment.

The position plays a key role in ensuring accurate receipting, reconciliation, and timely collection of payments, while working closely with internal stakeholders to resolve discrepancies and maintain strong financial controls.

Key Responsibilities

• Managing receipting and allocation of incoming payments
• Processing accounts receivable transactions across internal financial systems
• Performing bank and system reconciliations
• Investigating and resolving payment discrepancies and account queries
• Liaising with internal operational teams to ensure accurate payment processing
• Supporting the timely collection of outstanding balances
• Preparing aged debtor reports and highlighting overdue accounts
• Producing monthly account statements
• Maintaining accurate records within Xero and internal systems
• Supporting month-end processes and finance administration
• Assisting with reporting and reconciliation activities
• Ensuring work is completed in line with internal controls and compliance standards

Your Profile

To be successful in this role, you will bring strong Accounts Receivable experience, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with internal stakeholders.

You will have:

• Minimum 3 years' experience in an Accounts Receivable role
• Essential experience within Property Management or Real Estate
• Experience working in a high-volume transactional finance environment
• A TAFE qualification or higher in Accounting or Finance
• Strong understanding of double-entry accounting principles
• Experience using Xero (preferred) and strong Excel capability
• Ability to manage large volumes of transactions with high accuracy
• Strong communication skills and a stakeholder-focused mindset
• A proactive and organised approach to problem-solving
• Experience working within a regulated or service-based organisation (advantageous)
