Job Description

  • Rates from $33.41 per hour + superannuation, depending on qualifications (SCHADS Level 2)
  • Salary packaging options to increase your take home pay
  • Our enthusiastic team create a positive environment enabling you to provide quality, direct support to our participants on the autism spectrum.
  • Multiple, part time and casual roles available from Monday to Friday, between 8:45am-3:15pm, 3 days a week minimum.

Our enthusiastic team create a positive environment and provide quality, supports to our Autistic participants, while developing your own knowledge and skills in a group setting.

Qualifications

What you bring:

  • Certificate III or IV in Disability Services, Community Service or Individual Support - completed or working towards (highly regarded)
  • Experience working in a day program, supported accommodation services or a hospital setting – required
  • Experience working with adults with complex behaviours and support needs
  • Engaged and willing to learn; skilled at building rapport
  • Motivated, resilient and enthusiastic
  • Effective oral and written communication skills
  • Driver’s licence (desirable)
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check clearance for paid employment (or willingness to obtain)
  • Current Working with Children Check for paid employment in the state where you will be employed (or willingness to obtain)
  • NDIS Worker Orientation Module, ‘Quality, Safety and You.' If you have not already completed this free module, click here to access it. 
  • You may also be required to provide an international police clearance
