About the Role
This is a fantastic full-time opportunity for an experienced Admin Assistant / HR Assistant to support and oversee our site in Bundoora and Tottenham. must be able to drive to both site!
Your duties include the following:
- General secretarial and administrative support
- Providing ad hoc assistance for colleagues when needed
- Interviewing, hiring, and on-boarding new employees
- Reviewing and improving processes as necessary
- Preparation of employee contracts and letters of offer
- Maintenance of position descriptions as necessary
- Provide support and advice to the Director in relation HR issues
- Helping to resolve workplace conflict and liaising between parties
- Completing and documenting performance reviews

Skills & Experience
Previous experience in the construction/building industry is extremely advantageous
- Australian working rights
- 1-2 years of administrative and/or HR experience
- Computer and Microsoft Office literacy
- Organised with an eye for detail
- A can do attitude and great initiative
- Exceptional verbal and written communications skills
- Ability to work independently or in a team.
- Clean driving record from Vic Roads (you will be required to provide proof, and will be reimbursed if you are successful)
- Willing to obtain truck HR licence or if you have already got is a bonus
