Admin Assistant - Learning Support team

St Joseph's Nudgee College is a Catholic day and boarding school in the Edmund Rice tradition for boys (Years 5-12), with a student population of 1730 including 310 Boarding students.  The College caters for students from the local Brisbane area, regional and remote Queensland, interstate and overseas. We uphold the values of Edmund Rice Education Australia in providing quality Catholic education to students.

The College is seeking to employ an experienced Administrative Assistant to work in our learning support team.  

The role 

This is a full time role but only during school terms, 38 weeks a year. You will get all the school holidays as leave.

Key tasks

• Data entry of reports, letters, student plans and updated student information to support NCCD processes.
• Schedule and minute meetings with students and their families.
• Run data sets on student information (attendance, learning habits).
• Organise student adjustments for assessment via the QCAA portal.
• Assist the Head of Faculty, Coordinator Teachers & Teacher Aides with reviewing and collation of NCCD data/evidence.

Mandatory requirements

• Employment is subject to obtaining and maintaining a Blue Card, working with children.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Understand and practise high levels of confidentiality around student information and data.

Desired requirements

• Experience with TASS.
