Servco Australia - Cairns has multiple brands within Cairns including Pacific Toyota, Pacific Hino and Lexus of Cairns. The business has grown rapidly since its establishment and currently employs over 180 people. 

Administration and Compliance Officer 

This particular role in the dealership invites candidates who are seeking great work-life balance & flexibility along with security of working for an internationally recognised brand. Reporting to the Financial Controller and indirectly to the Dealer Principal and General Manager, this role oversees the payroll administration and compliance function for the whole dealership.

Your Role involves:

  • Award interpretation & payroll compliance (excluding payroll processing);
  • Preparing all letters of offer and other payroll-related correspondence;
  • Preparation and administration of onboarding documentation including professional and workplace health and safety induction;
  • Time & attendance software administration;
  • Workplace health and safety system co-ordination and administration;
  • Workplace uniform administration;
  • Project work as required around areas of human resources, policies and procedures, safety, and compliance. 

To be successful in this role, you ideally will have/be:

  • Previous experience in payroll and awards/agreements;
  • Previous experience with workplace health and safety and compliance systems;
  • Ability to work autonomously & to deadlines;
  • Excellent communication & interpersonal skills;
  • Ability to uphold complete confidentiality with personnel records. 

Work days & hours to be agreed upon by both parties, therefore offering flexibility. This position is open to candidates with varying levels of experience with the right attitude.
