Job Description - Administration Assistant, Accounts, Office All-Rounder

We are seeking an office all-rounder to join our team.  This is a varied role including reception, assisting with accounts, customer service, general office administration and other duties as required.

HS Sales is a Welshpool-based company. We are a family business and a happy close-knit team. You must be enthusiastic,  team-focused, and carry out tasks with a positive attitude. Experience in a small team environment is an advantage.  We are a family friendly workplace.

Skills & Experience

  • MYOB Experience
  • Reception / Admin Experience
  • Advanced MS Office skills including Word and Excel
  • Good Phone Manner
  • Excellent literacy skills
  • Experience working in a small team
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to effectively prioritise conflicting tasks
  • Drivers license preferred (for occasional pickups or deliveries)

HS Sales specialise in the supply and manufacture of forklift attachments, as well as fuses. We have a large clientele, and we sell to the forklift companies of Perth as well as electrical distributors. Most of our clientele are businesses (we don’t do pushy sales- our customers come to us). 

Duties

  • Answering phone and putting calls through to the relevant person.
  • Assisting walk-in customers
  • Assisting with fuse enquiries (training provided)
  • Replying to emails
  • Entering supplier bills
  • Entering sales invoices
  • Bank Reconciliations
  • Raising and receipting of purchases orders
  • Processing credit card payments over the phone
  • Booking freight
  • Updating Website (training provided)
  • Other Administrative duties as required.
