ADMINISTRATION - Data Entry Heavy - Invoicing

We are on the hunt for a new administration member to join our growing business based at Rocklea.  Due to continued demand and increased workload, we are seeking an experienced Administration guru, to work along side our other admin staff.

This is a full time role, with an immediate start.  There is the potential to move within the company in the future as we continue to grow.

About the role

As an administration officer, you will be responsible for the following but not limited to:

  • Keeping multiple registers current, with accurate daily data input across multiple spreadsheets and programs
  • Invoicing (Accounts receivable) on a daily basis. 
  • Liaising with external clients regularly via phone and email
  • Booking transport of machinery
  • Attending weekly meetings with both the operations team and the workshop team
  • Ad hoc duties as required
  • Enjoying what you do.
  • You will be supported by another senior experienced staff member.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

Industry Knowledge with in one or more of the following industries. Waste or transport, Plant and machinery service and repairs workshop background. Plant Hire company background.

  Intermediate to advanced Experience with Excel, Word and Outlook and Xero

  • Experience with safety documentation, SWMS, risk assessments etc.
  • Knowledge of WHS
  • Ability to draw up policies and procedures
  • Accurate data entry
  • The ability to multi-task and think on your feet
  • Great communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage time critical tasks when required
  • Be highly dependable and reliable
  • Be proactive and forward thinking
  • A go-getter with some experience in a fast-paced environment
  • The ability to liaise with all levels of personalities.

Preferred (but not essential as all training will be provided):

  • Experience with Ariba
  • Experience with Monday.com
  • Experience with Xero

An extra asset

  • First aide
