The Administration Officer provides professional administrative support to the Council and Secretariat staff within the Queensland Sentencing Advisory Council.

Your contribution
• Develop, monitor, and maintain administrative processes to assist the Business Manager and Director in managing the financial, governance and human resources of the Secretariat.
• Manage correspondence for the Secretariat including recording incoming and outgoing correspondence and performing quality assurance on responses and other documents for two shared mailboxes.
• Maintain accurate financial records for Queensland Sentencing Advisory Council, through preparation and processing of invoices, claims and undertaking other financial activities, including ordering supplies and conducting stocktaking procedures.
• Maintain efficient and up-to-date filing and information retrieval systems to assist in the collection and collation of documents relevant to Queensland Sentencing Advisory Council.
• Provide assistance to the Business Manager and Director in managing the day-to-day operations of the Secretariat including arranging meetings and monitoring diary appointments, and performing other duties as required to support the delivery of services.
