Job Description - Administration Team Leader - Weipa (Permanent Residential)

Goodline facilitates a wide range of works, this includes but is not limited to, Shutdown Maintenance, Welding and Fabrication, Civil Construction, Concreting, Plumbing, Equipment Maintenance, Refrigeration and Electrical. 

Weipa is located on the west coast of Queensland and is the largest town in Cape York Peninsula.

 

About the role:

Goodline requires an Admin Team Leader to join our Weipa residential team. This role is responsible for ensuring that the administrative component of all departments run efficiently. The roles primary objective is to support the Divisional Manager, Superintendents and Supervisors with the site-based requirements in mobilisation, accounts and payroll. Furthermore, the role requires general administrative duties to be carried out such as calendar management, document formatting, minuting meetings and coordination of incoming phone and email messages.

 

About you:

You will be self-motivated with the ability to work autonomously and as part of a team and possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. You will have a passion for ongoing personal development with a willingness to learn, create and adapt to new and evolving systems. 

 

Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities:

  • Accountable for all department administration – mobilisation, accounts, payroll, timesheets, invoicing, stores etc.
  • Proven critical thinking skills and ability to analyse situations to make best-for-business decisions
  • Lead by example, mentor staff and conduct performance development plans for direct reports
  • Proven capacity to lead and inspire team with a determined yet proactive approach that engages and develops people
  • Proficiency in use of various computer systems – Viewpoint, Excel, Word, PowerPoint
  • Actively participate in meetings (Both internal and external) and brief the team on daily activities and requirements
  • Support in monitoring progress on all jobs to ensure compliance
  • Work closely with the administration team to ensure invoicing is accurate and actioned in a timely manner
