Job Description - Administrative Officer

We are on the lookout for a dedicated Administration Officer to join our team at Hunters Hill Village. 

Working closely with the Facility Manager, this role is crucial in the day-to-day operation of our home, and a caring, passionate and committed candidate. 

We are open to a variety of candidates, with previous admin experience beneficial. With an industry leading Learning and Development program, you will be supported to grow as you are trained in this position.

 Twilight Aged Care is a stand-alone not-for-profit service with a rich history spanning over 100 years.
  
Employing over 300 dedicated staff, they provide high quality residential aged care for more than 300 men and women in 4 homes across Northern Sydney – Gordon, Mosman, Hunters Hill, Dural and Gladesville.

A great Admin at Twilight Aged Care will:  

  • Provide customer service liaising with staff, residents, families and external stakeholders as necessary
  • Undertakes a range of office procedures such as; facility tours, typing of correspondence, reports and other documents, maintain office files, mail opening & distribution, purchasing and ordering, processing invoices, coordinate repairs to office equipment, photocopying and scanning
  • Monitoring facility credit card
  • Provide receptionist services such as meet & greet, answer the telephone and direct and handle inquiries
  • Maintains a record management system including; data entry, updating lists, maintaining resident files, filing, storage, archiving and disposal of records
  • Maintains an up to date fortnightly roster and assists the Facility Manager with the daily allocation of all staff, monitoring attendance via Emplive and organising replacement of staff as necessary
  • Attends Facility staff and residents’ meetings, prepares agenda in conjunction with the Facility Manager, takes & distributes minutes and coordinates the documentation in respect of staff and resident issues
  • Attends regular training and performs other related duties as required

 

Position Details

  • Working at our home in Hunter Hill Village,
  • Monday to Friday, 8:30-4:30 (start/end times are flexible)

About you

Demonstrating experience in a similar role, you are an Admin who treats residents, staff, families and volunteers in a respectful and courteous manner. Further, you will have:

  • An up to date Police Check
  • Have received COVID-19 Booster Vaccination
  • Previous experience working in community or aged care would be highly regarded
  • Well-developed written and verbal communication skills, and interpersonal skills
