An award-winning team of professionals of our Building & Construction team delivers maintenance, brownfield projects, fit-outs and new build commercial construction projects ranging from $100k – $50m. Our maintenance teams deliver sustaining capital projects across various disciplines such as, general maintenance, plumbing, electrical, fabrication, civil, concrete, demolition, asbestos, roofing and cladding. Our customers include Nyrstar, GFG, Simec, BHP, regional councils, Ventia and Defence.

As a result of our strategic growth and winning projects, we are inviting individuals to join the McMahon Services Building and Construction team as an Administrator.

About The Role:

We seek an Administrator to join our Building and Construction customer stream. Reporting directly to the Commercial Manager – Building and Construction, your primary responsibility will be to assist the Building and Construction team with all administrative tasks. A key component of the role is collaboration with existing Contract Administrators, who work alongside the Commercial Manager.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with preparing subcontractor agreements, insurance documentation and onboarding of new suppliers and contractors
  • Process invoices, goods receipts and raise purchase orders for building services
  • Assist with managing registers such as Aged Debtors, Retentions, Risks and Opportunities
  • Assist with monthly reporting

About You:

To be successful in the role, you will need:

  • Experience using Microsoft Office applications (and any other systems)
  • Excellent communication skills(verbal and written)
  • Experience managing confidential matters
  • Willingness to learn internal processes and system documentation
  • Ability to adapt to change in a calm and professional manner
  • Ability to work within a team and autonomously
