AdTech Specialist

Contribute to the creation of advertising at Kick Streaming as an Adtech Specialist.

Your role with us:
As our Adtech Specialist, you will report to the Manager of Advertising Operations and maintain our advertising systems. You are responsible for the technical implementation of ad products and ensuring the successful rollout of new tooling features. Your day-to-day involves configuring ad units, managing SSP partner connections, and handling deal ID troubleshooting. You will also execute testing for product enhancements and build the performance reporting needed to track both campaign success and technical platform health.

What you will do:

• Leverage demonstrated experience in ad pod optimisation techniques, including collapsing, break buffet, and waterfall to highest possible fill rate and revenue from our video inventory


• Maintain relationships with SSP partners, handling connection setups and deal ID troubleshooting


• Setting up our first campaigns & trafficking; configure ad units, orders, line items and targeting parameters


• Maintain current training documentation updated throughout the lifecycle of the material


• Own initial escalations from cross-functional partners


• Develop performance reporting working from video, adserver data to demonstrate campaign performance as well as technical performance insights


• Collaborate with Manager, Ad Operations to document trafficking/setup, updates and workflow optimisations. 


• Work with Product and Engineering teams to execute testing for product offering enhancements.


• Serve as internal Ads Operations point of contact to investigate campaign setup related to Ads Policy, Campaign Delivery Troubleshooting etc.

What you will bring:

• 4+ years of Ad Tech and/or Ad Operations experience 


• Proven understanding of video advertising ecosystem video standards VAST/OpenRTB for LIVE and demonstrated experience in optimising ad pod serving in CTV, programmatic and sponsorship models


• Expert-level understanding of the ad tech ecosystem, including SSPs, DSPs and ability to operate an ad server


• Iterate and test new tooling features, and commercial formats with the Product and business operations teams to ensure successful rollout

Bonus points if you also have:

• Experience with creator economy platforms or direct-to-consumer advertising.


• Experience interacting with BPO vendors and managing the vendor's tasks of campaign setup and management, including but not limited to trafficking, QA, and reporting.


• Sports, gambling & cryptocurrency knowledge


• Proficient with Google Suite (Drive, Spreadsheets, Docs), Slack, Jira
