We specialise in testing, overhauls, maintenance, valve sizing, engineering and integrity management.
About The Role
The Advanced NDT Technician reports to the Advanced Inspection Specialist, EnerMech Integrity Management Services.
The primary responsibilities of this position are:
1) Advanced NDT Inspection and basic NDT Inspection activities within the organisation.
2) Continuous improvement of Advanced NDT practice.
3) Assist with Mentoring, Supervision, instruction and training of NDT Technicians and Trainees.
Ensure strong Health, Safety and Environmental (HSEQ) performance.
Ensure advanced inspection equipment is calibrated.
Establish advanced test and inspection techniques and/or procedures.
Interpret codes, standards, specifications, and procedures.
Analyse and interpret test data and prepare technical reports for use by engineering and management personnel.
Drive and demonstrate strong, proactive, and consultative relations with the client group.
Assist with the monitoring of project progress and ensure project objectives (KPI’s) are met.
Work closely with various cross functional teams to ensure work is carried out in a timely manner.
Identify risk exposure and ensure risk mitigation measures in place.
Maintain a high level of integrity to manage sensitive and confidential situations.
Provide support and information to the Advanced Inspection Specialist for his/her analysis and reporting.
Responsible for completing time sheets, daily reports, and other documentation as assigned by the Advanced Inspection Specialist or directed by company procedures.
Requirements
·You will be certified in advanced methods and have experience in these methods. You will have worked as part of teams and had previous client relationships and demonstrate excellent HSEQ performance. More specifically the following skills, knowledge & experience are required:
·ISO9712 or equivalent certified as a minimum in Eddy Current Level 2, Ultrasonic Testing Level 2 and Magnetic Particle Testing Level 2
Proven and documented experience with over 10 years’ experience in tube inspection techniques including IRIS, ECT, ECA, RFT, RFA, NFT and NFA
Self-starter and team player
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both oral and written). Including an ability to effectively communicate in writing and verbally in English
Able to work in a multi-cultured environment
Works independently with only intermittent indirect supervision from Management
Experience with EddyFi Ectane and Olympus MS5800 systems
