Advisor (Office of the Deputy Director General) , Transport and Main Roads

In the role of Advisor, you will provide support and advice in relation to a range of strategic and operational divisional activities, as well as providing direct support to the Deputy Director-General (Corporate), Principal Advisor and key stakeholders within TMR to enable the delivery of Government, departmental and divisional objectives. You will liaise with internal and external stakeholders within the division, department and other organisations.

Some of your accountabilities will include
• Resolving issues, providing advice and developing recommendations to support the effective operations of the division.
• Assist with the coordination of boards, committees and working groups
• Support the coordination of business planning and reporting with guidance
• Develop, lead, implement and review ongoing continuous improvement activities
• Ensure public sector legislation, standards, policies, practices and procedures are met
