AEM Solution Lead

Contract - AEM Solution LeadYour new companyYou'll be joining a major financial services organisation undergoing a significant digital uplift across its commercial channels. A key part of this transformation is the shift from long-standing .NET portals to a modern Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) platform, supported by AWS APIs and integrated with core systems such as Pega. The role is based in Sydney CBD with two in-office days each week.
Your new roleAs the Solution Lead, your primary responsibility is to drive the delivery of AEM-based digital experiences. You'll be the technical authority guiding the organisation through its transition to an Adobe-first front-end ecosystem. Working closely with solution designers, architects and product teams, you'll shape low-level designs, lead sizing and estimation, and ensure AEM solutions are scalable, maintainable and aligned with architectural standards.While you may contribute to hands-on development when needed, your main focus is steering AEM technical direction, supporting developers, and overseeing the build of features such as quoting journeys, digital forms and statement retrieval. You'll also refine requirements, lead technical spikes and ensure AEM best practices are consistently applied across teams.
What you'll need to succeed

• Deep experience delivering AEM solutions and strong understanding of Adobe's digital ecosystem
• Solid full stack engineering background with the ability to guide teams building AEM-driven interfaces
• Familiarity with AWS-based APIs and enterprise integrations
• Ability to translate business needs into scalable AEM-aligned technical designs
• Experience working in agile or SAFe environments, including sizing, refinement and technical elaboration
• Comfortable navigating legacy systems while leading teams toward a modern Adobe-centric platform
• Strong communication skills and confidence engaging with stakeholders at all levels
• Experience mentoring developers and collaborating closely with architects and delivery leaders
