The Opportunity

Orrcon Steel is looking for a Afternoon Shift Storeperson in our Operations team based in Kewdale, WA. Orrcon Steel is a manufacturer of steel tube and pipe and leading Australian steel distributor with nationally recognised brands.

When you join our team, you will benefit from:

• full-time permanent role
• great afternoon shift hours (Monday to Thursday 2:00 PM – 10:06PM, Friday 12:56PM – 6:06PM) so you have the flexibility for family and lifestyle commitments
• the salary range will be between $28.54 up to $33.26 plus super (experience dependent) and yearly bonus!
• 20% afternoon shift loading to increase your salary

What Will You Do? 

You will be responsible for receiving and storing materials, assembling and loading orders, and dispatch duties, you will also:

• safely load and unload trucks
• operate forklifts and other machine processing equipment including learning to drive trucks (onsite only) and magnetic cranes
• pick and pack from stock on-site to create specific orders
• be responsible for the safety of yourself and your co-workers
• ensure a high level of customer satisfaction through your service levels

More About You  

As someone who enjoys working in a physically active role and as part of a team, you will bring: 

• forklift licence with proven experience in bulk products
• gantry crane experience preferred but training can be provided
• truck driver licence and experience in driving in a warehouse preferred
• effective communication skills, a can-do attitude and willingness to learn new skills
• ability to think on your feet providing safe and workable solutions
• a commitment to your own safety and wellbeing and care for others
