We specialise in finding the sweet spot that intersects what organisations want to achieve and what their audiences need – and then we create useful, purposeful and impactful content that cuts through the noise, and kicks both audience and business goals. We’re looking for a dynamic, marketing-obsessed account director to collaborate with our diverse, innovative team. Your passion for client success will shine as you navigate a constantly evolving landscape, delivering exceptional digital experiences. You’ll be the liaison between the Slice team and our clients on several key accounts, and you’ll relish the challenge of growing and nurturing those relationships, constantly advocating for the client (and their customers/audience) to make sure we’re achieving their objectives and doing our very best work.
You’re an astute completer/finisher with a “get sh*t done” attitude, and you’ll thrive on managing multiple projects, campaigns and stakeholders at one time. You’ll work closely with the Slice MD to manage resources and plan capacity, and you’ll be a gun at proactively pushing work through the agency, galvanising the creative team and ensuring that client timelines and expectations are communicated and met.
You’re a big picture thinker that gets equally obsessed by the details; even the most ambitious ideas can be broken down into bite-sized chunks of work across a timeline. There’s nothing we could throw at you that you can’t make happen – and you can efficiently and effectively get things done yourself or through others, equally happy working both autonomously and as part of a team.
You challenge people with new ways of thinking and never settle for the status quo. You’re ahead of the curve with what’s happening within the brand storytelling, content marketing and digital marketing worlds, and keen to share with everyone. You like to focus on the positives in life and seek solutions rather than dwell on challenges, quickly shifting gears if an account needs a different approach.
You have good business sense and a solid grasp of finance, budgeting, and operations. You also know how to turn a business challenge into a marketing or content opportunity. You understand and can talk to the role of digital marketing in the marketing ecosystem, and how to build engaged owned audiences through brand storytelling.
As you become more confident in the role and more attuned to our client’s needs, there will also be the opportunity to oversee the execution of integrated digital marketing strategies, and to contribute to creative concepts for clients.
