About the role

As an Allied Health Assistant, you will provide customer-focused support services including:

• Assisting the delivery of high-quality individual and group intervention with a treating Allied Health Clinician or under their direction
• Regular monitoring of customer treatment plans and collaboration with the treating Allied Health Clinician(s) to notify of progress, concerns and/or need for review.
• Providing support services to customers presenting with a wide range of needs, including aged care, disability, health and wellbeing, return to work and rehabilitation, in collaboration with Allied Health Clinicians.
• Providing instruction, supervision and education to customers, support workers and other carers as required under the direction of an Allied Health Clinician.
• Assisting in the preparation for programs and supervision of participants under the direction of the allied health clinician

About you

• Certificate III or IV in Allied Health Assistance, or a minimum 2 years’ experience working in a similar role within the industry.
• Demonstrated ability to provide in-scope allied health services to support and complement the treating Allied Health Clinician and customer.
• Current First Aid Certificate and Basic Life Support qualifications, or willingness to obtain prior to employment. 
• Current Driver’s Licence and willingness to drive in the course of work.
