About the Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic, self-starter that is highly organised to join our Allocations team.
Supported by the Operations Manager, the core focus of the role is to support the Allocator as needed and to cover any leave periods. You will assist with day-to-day workflow which involves coordination and planning of resources to ensure optimum levels of service delivery without compromising on safety or client satisfaction. The role involves general admin duties such as reviewing, reporting and filing internal documentation.
Your Responsibilities:
In this role you will be responsible for the following key tasks:
- Assist with coordination and planning of crane hire and associated labour to achieve on time delivery and capability in line with customer requirements, efficiently and effectively.
- Assist with utilisation of assets and resources, ensuring resources (equipment and personnel) are compliant with legal, site and other requirements.
- Assist with identifying and resolving scheduling conflicts.
- Assist with engaging third party contractors where necessary, to service supply demands.
- Analyse data and information for accuracy
- Daily compliance checks for internal documentation and report findings to Operations Manager
- General Administration Duties; filing, updating folders
- Liaise with all personnel, in a professional manner and assist in cultivating a positive team spirit.
- Liaise with customers in a professional manner while aiming to meet & exceed customer service expectations.
- Aid in building new client relationships.
Skills & Experience:
- Demonstrated experience in planning/scheduling. Crane Industry Experience preferred but not essential.
- Demonstrate a high level of computer literacy and sound written and verbal communication skills.
- Self-driven, reliable, and exceptionally well-organized with the patience and mental ability to adapt and multitask to meet deadlines.
- Have the ability to analyse information, separate facts and communicate a resolution to staff and/or clients.
- Show logical intelligence and foresight in resolving challenges and anticipate future issues before they arise by projecting and planning ahead.
