YOUR ROLE

As a Business Analyst at Bunzl, your primary responsibility is to partner with stakeholders across all business areas to understand the current state, analyse business requirements, and identify opportunities for improvement. You will leverage technology to enhance customer experiences and drive operational efficiency. Your role involves designing and documenting specifications for product or system changes, workflows, and core business processes. Working with Senior Business Analysts and senior staff while acting as a bridge between technical teams and business users, you will translate complex technical jargon into simple language and visual techniques. You will deliver high-quality user stories, define acceptance criteria for technology implementations, and contribute to evolving business analysis methods and disciplines within Bunzl.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to determine project vision, scope, and objectives.
• Gather business and end-user requirements through various methods.
• Critically evaluate information from multiple sources to identify true needs.
• Assess risks and prioritise competing business demands.
• Create accurate artefacts such as business requirements, functional specifications, and use cases.
• Work closely with developers and subject matter experts to establish a technical vision.
• Document analysis results, design and execute test scripts, and ensure successful adoption of new processes.

ABOUT YOU

You are a proactive and analytical professional with the ability to see the bigger picture and understand how transformation meets business goals. You possess strong leadership skills and can confidently lead and communicate with key business, technical, and third-party partners. You have a proven track record of problem-solving and delivering transformations in large-scale organisations. Your experience includes overseeing big programs of work while maintaining a focus on delivery through others. You are resilient, tenacious, and possess a can-do attitude, willing to go the extra mile when needed. Your transparency, collaboration, and curiosity inspire openness and honesty in communication. You are comfortable taking ownership and being accountable for actions.

• Ability to understand and convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in gathering and analysing business requirements.
• Proven ability to prioritise competing business demands.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience working in dynamic teams and project settings.
• Ability to lead post-implementation reviews to assess the achievement of expected benefits and ROI.
