Job Description - Analyst - Accounting and Process Support

The Opportunity

We now have an exciting opportunity available for an Accounting & Process Support Analyst to join our Finance team in Sydney CBD office on a full-time basis until July 2027.

Reporting to the Financial Control Manager, you will play a key role in supporting finance operations while driving continuous improvement initiatives across end-to-end processes. This is a unique opportunity to combine your financial expertise with process optimisation, stakeholder engagement, and system enhancement initiatives to improve efficiency and operational excellence across the business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide subject matter expertise across end-to-end finance processes, including R2R, P2P, O2C, Fixed Assets, and Project Accounting

  • Analyse current processes, identify inefficiencies, and recommend improvements to enhance accuracy, efficiency, and control

  • Support and facilitate workshops with stakeholders to gather requirements and uncover process improvement opportunities

  • Contribute to finance transformation initiatives, including system enhancements, automation, and standardisation efforts

  • Coordinate and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), including test planning, execution, and defect resolution

  • Develop and maintain high-quality process documentation, SOPs, and training materials to support change and capability uplift

Your Background

  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related discipline, with a solid understanding of finance operations

  • Demonstrated experience in process improvement, business analysis, or finance transformation environments

  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to collaborate and influence across finance and business teams

  • Experience supporting system implementations, UAT, and change initiatives within finance functions

  • Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills, with strong attention to detail

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, with exposure to ERP systems (e.g. SAP, Oracle, Workday)

This role would suit a commercially minded finance professional who enjoys improving processes, working collaboratively with stakeholders, and contributing to impactful change across finance operations.
