About the Team
The Market Registration team plays a critical role in supporting participants entering and operating within Australia's energy markets. We facilitate and manage registration processes across the National Electricity Market (NEM), East Coast Gas Markets and the WA Retail Gas Market, ensuring applications are assessed fairly, efficiently and in accordance with regulatory requirements.
Working closely with industry participants, regulators and internal stakeholders, the team helps enable effective market participation while supporting the ongoing evolution and improvement of Australia's energy sector.
About the role
As an Analyst - Energy Market Registration, you will contribute to the efficient operation of Australia's energy markets by managing registration and onboarding activities and supporting regulatory compliance obligations.
This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented analyst with strong stakeholder management skills who enjoys working in a regulatory environment. You will develop a broad understanding of market registration requirements governed by the National Electricity Rules (NER), National Gas Rules (NGR) and AEMO policies, while contributing to process improvements, reform initiatives and industry change programs.
Working as part of a collaborative team, you will engage with a variety of internal and external stakeholders to deliver positive registration outcomes and help shape improvements that benefit market participants and the broader energy industry.
