At CommBank, we're building a brighter future for our customers, communities, and people. Our Regional & Agribusiness Banking (RAB) team plays a vital role in supporting Australia's agribusiness sector - and we're looking for an Analyst to join us within Agribusiness.

In this role, you'll partner closely with Agribusiness Bankers and directly with customers, combining insight, analysis and credit expertise to help agribusinesses grow, manage risk and navigate opportunity. It's a role for someone who enjoys solving complex problems, shaping practical solutions, and continuously finding better ways to deliver value.

How you'll make an impact

You'll support the full credit lifecycle for a diversified agribusiness portfolio, including:

• Analysing and producing credit performance and portfolio reporting, including industry-specific insights that inform customer conversations and decision-making
• Assisting with facility documentation and approval processes, ensuring accurate, timely and high-quality outcomes for customers
• Supporting structured and complex finance transactions, contributing to high-quality credit submissions, financial modelling and white papers
• Engaging with customers alongside Bankers to understand their businesses, challenges and goals - translating complexity into clear, solutions-focused advice
• Developing a strong understanding of customers' operations, informed by agribusiness knowledge, research, market insights, portfolio data and product expertise
• Maintaining and analysing client and industry data to proactively identify risks, opportunities and meaningful, customer-centred solutions
• Supporting post-deal and ongoing portfolio management of selected transactions
• Building strong relationships with Bankers and internal partners to ensure customer servicing issues are identified early and resolved effectively
• Leveraging CommBank tools and insights to assess risk and opportunity on new lending and increased credit exposure
• Continuously looking for ways to improve processes, insights and customer outcomes through curiosity, initiative and a solutions mindset

What you'll bring

• Experience in credit analysis, banking or financial services, ideally within agribusiness, commercial or regional portfolios
• Strong financial analysis and modelling capability, with high attention to detail
• A solutions-focused, problem-solving mindset - you enjoy working through complexity and finding practical ways forward for customers
• Confidence communicating with customers and stakeholders, and the ability to explain analysis clearly and commercially
• A collaborative and curious approach - you enjoy partnering closely and understanding how customers operate
• Agribusiness knowledge or exposure is a bonus, with an interest in deepening your industry expertise
• The ability to balance risk, customer outcomes and commercial priorities
