AO Event Workforce - Internal Referrals

Congratulations! You have been referred by a member of our Tennis team to join us for the Australian Open 2027.

To be considered, please complete and submit your application below. Kindly note that the application portal will close on 12 July, and submissions will not be accepted after this date.

The Australian Open is one of Australia’s largest sporting and entertainment events, powered by a passionate and diverse workforce. Your path to joining the AO Team:

• Select 'Apply' to start your application.
• When asked 'How did you hear about us?', please select "I know someone at the company" and provide only one name or email of the current Tennis team member who referred you.
• Have your most up-to-date CV ready to upload.
• Have a copy of a right to work document ready to upload (for example, Australian passport, birth certificate, citizenship certificate, or IMMI grant notification, depending on your work rights).
• Set aside a few minutes if completing the application in one go.
• Team interviews: Shortlisted applicants may be invited to attend a "Team Quallies" group assessment in August. You'll be advised if you progress to this stage by 31 July.

To be considered for AO27:

• You will need to be available for the entire tournament period, including Opening Week (11 - 31 January 2027). As you know, you won’t be required to work every day, but your availability assists with operational planning. Some roles may have earlier start dates – you can check this document for details. For roles not listed, we will share these with you as soon as possible.
• You must meet background check requirements by providing a valid National Police Check and Working with Children Check.
