Applications Engineer

Key Duties:

The Circuit Protection, and Controls (CPC) Division at Eaton Electrical reflects a long tradition of creating solutions that enhance electrical safety, reliability provide efficient power distribution solutions for data centre, renewables, commercial buildings, industry, mining, and infrastructure. Our products include circuit protection, automation, switchboards systems, fuse gear and many other low voltage products.

We are looking to hire an Application Engineer to work with sales in selecting and engineering products and solutions to build customer proposals for the CPC business covering circuit breakers, contactors, overloads, small PLC’s and HMI’s.

Qualifications:

• Ideally 3 + years of experience in technical product engineering within power distribution products and systems, i.e motor control, power quality or automation products.
• Experience with design software packages such as PowerCAD would be highly advantageous.
• Good working knowledge of Australian Electrical standards and industry practices.
• Tertiary Qualifications in Electrical Engineering
