About the Opportunity

Due to continual growth, Becker Mining Australia is currently seeking a positive and enthusiastic Electronics/Communications Apprentice to join our team. The role is permanent full time, based in Thornton, NSW. 

This is an excellent opportunity for persons seeking an Electronics/Communications trade career. The Becker Mining Apprentice program includes:

• A structured training program where you will be led by experienced Tradespersons, Supervisors and Managers. 
• Ongoing coaching and training provided to you to develop the knowledge and skills for you to become a competent Electronics/Communications technician. 
• Payment of apprenticeship fees and textbooks and paid time to attend Tertiary education. 

About you

To be considered for this position, you will: 

• Be an Australian Citizen or an Australian Permanent Resident.
• Be eligible to apply for a full-time Electronics/Communications Apprenticeship (completed Year 10 and/or be 17 years or older). 
• Possess strong mathematical aptitude (minimum of Year 10 completion).
• Possess a valid Driver’s License. 
• Have a genuine interest in pursuing a career in the electronics/communications field in the mining industry.
• Be strong team player, with the ability to work in a team environment and individually.
