Apprentice Landscaper - Professional Development Opportunities

About you

We are looking for a focused, enthusiastic and hard-working person to work on high-end residential landscapes in Melbourne (central and south eastern suburbs). Check out our work on Instagram @kings_gardens_and_pools_

You will be a good listener and observer, willing to learn and demonstrate a strong work ethic. You will be punctual, well presented and use your common sense at all times.

You will work alongside other apprentices and senior team members, who will provide you with training and great opportunities to develop skills in all aspects of landscaping. They include:

• Hard landscaping tasks and construction including working with bricks, blocks, stone and timber, paving, concreting and building retaining walls.
• Soft landscaping tasks including turfing, planting and installing drainage and irrigation systems.
• General duties including setting up and cleaning a work site, delivering or preparing materials, using and maintaining equipment, tools, vehicles and machinery.

At the end of your four-year apprenticeship you will hold a Certificate III in Landscape Construction, and be a fully qualified landscaper.

You will need a current Victorian drivers licence and own car.

You must have completed your construction induction (white card).

About us

Our team of about 20 includes qualified landscapers and apprentices, as well as design and administration staff. We work in a fast-paced environment in some amazing homes around Melbourne, Geelong and the Surf Coast.

We are a close-knit team and often enjoy social outings together. We have one scheduled RDO per month. Hard work and commitment will be rewarded.
