About the Role:

The position is required to undertake activities and tasks using available information where options are not always evident. It will be required to perform procedural, clerical, administrative and operational tasks that supports and contributes to our Australian Government client's business objectives.

The position will have a considerable level of contact with internal and external stakeholders and will be required to communicate with and provide advice on a range of matters to resolve moderately complex to complex enquiries.

Duties:

• Contribute to the development and management of project plans and schedules in accordance with our client's project management framework.
• Provide advice, procedural guidance and technical expertise in specific areas of project work.
• Assist with project quality management to ensure that project deliverables are fit for purpose and meet the client's needs.
• Perform research work and analysis including contributing to the preparation of reports on relevant project activities.
• Contribute to regular project reporting including status updates and exception reports.
• Assist with monitoring project budgets, review and report on expenditure and assist with procurement and contract management.
• Draft a range of written material including business cases, plans, executive briefs and corporate documentation for review.
• Assist with the identification and management of project risks, issues and benefits.
