APS 6 Grants Officer

Join us as an APS 6 Level Grants Officer located in Deakin ACT, to support our client in managing complex grants, ensuring compliance and delivering value for money outcomes.

About the Role:
As an APS6 Level Grants Officer, you will:

• Provide complex grants policy advice in line with Commonwealth and Client policies.
• Offer business partnering support across agency areas undertaking grants.
• Maintain and ensure compliance of the grants template suite with relevant policies and legislation.
• Prepare grants reports and briefing materials for internal and external stakeholders.
• Support continuous improvement within the Grants function.

About You:
We are looking for candidates who:

• Have autonomy and accountability in exercising initiative and judgement.
• Can interpret legislation and policy effectively.
• Possess strong technical, professional, policy, and operational skills.
• Have experience in strategic planning, program and project management, and policy development.
• Are skilled in liaising with internal and external stakeholders on complex, sensitive issues.
