APS 6 Level Technical Advisor

The APS6 Level Technical Advisory (Professional Stream) role involves providing expert technical, clinical, and operational advice on complex cases, driving consistency in decision-making, and contributing to policy development. This role is located in Deakin ACT.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver clinical and technical expertise through coaching and mentoring.
• Manage complex and sensitive conversations related to funding approvals.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure consistent outcomes.
• Support internal reviews and Administrative Appeals Tribunal processes.
• Contribute to health and allied health policy and guidance.
• Provide high-quality written and verbal advice and maintain records.

About You:

• Relevant academic qualifications and current accreditation.
• Membership with AHPRA or AHPA.
• Extensive clinical experience in health, allied health, or disability sectors.
• Proficiency in either of the following areas: Occupational Therapy, Psychology, Registered Nursing, Social Work or Specialist Behavioural Support.
• Proven clinical experience and sound professional knowledge.
• Ability to work with people with disabilities and chronic health conditions.
