APS6 Digital Educator X 2
  • $60 to $68 per hour + super  
  • Woden Office with Hybrid Arrangements
  • 12-month contract + 2 x 12 Month Extensions
  • Baseline Clearance Required
  • Weekly Pay
About the role
My client is seeking two APS6 Digital Educators within the Policy Programs and Engagement Division.
 
The APS6 Digital Educator is accountable under limited direction to perform complex work to drive the meaningful adoption and use of digital health technologies across multiple healthcare and consumer settings. This may require using learning design methodologies that support the development of a system wide shift in the understanding of digital health in the workplace, and for consumers.
 
The primary focus of this role will be to design learning and develop education resources in support of this Federal Government Agency’s strategic plan.
Key Accountabilities will include: 
  • Provide expertise and technical knowledge in specialist areas across a range of programs or activities.
  • Acquire, maintain and apply a thorough understanding of contemporary face to face, hybrid and eLearning methodologies and requirements when developing education materials, mentoring programs and curriculum.
  • Undertake the technical build and testing of online resources using Agency approved development software.
  • Lead education and change management activities for the adoption of digital health technologies; providing regular digital health priority ‘train the trainer’ education, training and updates for primary healthcare sectors, jurisdictional, Indigenous Health delivery partners and consumers.
  • Manage all stages of online resource development projects including the development of timelines, engaging relevant staff, key stakeholders and third-party providers as required; review and analysis of proposed content and development of project briefs for approval.
About you
In this role will provide support for healthcare providers, health sector and aged care sector students. They will be responsible for working with stakeholders, including industry and education sector and subject matter experts to create online and digital learning resources for healthcare providers and consumers.
To be successful you will need::
  • Skills in developing and designing eLearning resources, with a preference for experience in Vyond, Articulate 360, Adobe Creative Suite and Learning Management Systems.
  • Acquire, maintain and apply a thorough understanding of contemporary eLearning methodologies and requirements when developing education materials, mentoring programs and curriculum.
  • Perform research and analysis to make decisions that involve defining evaluation approaches for both courses and ongoing change and adoption implementation.

  • Hold a current Baseline Clearance.
