Area Manager - QLD - Urgent Hiring

POP MART, founded in 2010 is an industry-leading pop culture and art toy company aiming to light up passion and bring joy to all. As the Company is rapidly growing in ANZ region, we currently have a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated Area Manager to join our team and support our retail stores in Queensland!

Key Responsibilities

• Managing 2-3 retail stores with direct Store Manager reports (Indooroopilly, Mt Gravatt and upcoming stores in late 2024)
• Driving sales performance and exceptional customer service experiences across your region
• Leading by example to foster a customer first mindset
• Continuously reviewing results and driving sales and the achievement of KPIs
• Providing clear and effective communication aligned with the strategy focuses to your team
• Providing consistent coaching and training to support any skill gaps with your Store Managers
• Fostering talent and striving to retain team members through effective internal professional progression
• Contributing and working closely with the Recruitment team for successful recruitment activations and continuously networking to form relationships to attract future talent
• Ensuring stores follow through on all VM & operational processes
• Regular travel for store visits
   

Essential Requirement

• Previous retail management experience with a proven ability to lead and motivate teams
• At least 3 years experience in a retail management position
• Pride yourself with business acumen and commercial awareness with exceptional sales ability
• Passionate about customer service and supporting team members to meet sales targets and KPIs
• Ability to analyse data to drive actionable insights and have sound critical thinking skills
• Manage time effectively and work independently, being a self-driven person
• Fluency in Mandarin is highly advantageous
