Area Manager (VIC)

As a retail partner Account Manager, you are a true ambassador for Latitude and our Brand.

Our Account Managers enhance and grow relationships within a set portfolio of key retailers (Including retail giants such as Apple, JB HI FI, Harvey Norman & The Good Guys plus many more).

Your territory will cover retailers west of Melbourne including weekly visitation to Geelong and Ballarat.

Whilst this is a pure relationship building role, it is anticipated that you identify new business opportunities and have well-planned robust conversations about why partners should be offering their customers the most affordable way to pay and how we can partner with them to help grow their business!

• Build and strengthen relationships with store managers and their teams, understand their business impact, growth, and customer experience.
• Deliver a structured training framework to promote retail finance and positively impact growth whilst ensuring the business is compliant in its practices.
• Commit to business goals/ targets, driving results through collaboration and problem solving with retail sales team.
• Understand how your retailers operate, appreciate their goal and purpose and continue to enhance their sales performance.
• Provide on call servicing to retail partners during store operational hours.

Working within the finance sector means that a large part of the role involves ensuring our retail partners are presenting our products in a compliant manner to meet annual regulatory reviews.

About you

You’ve already fine-tuned your relationship-building skills from previous Sales focused roles, where you successfully managed multi-level relationships, both internally and externally.

You flourish in an autonomous environment and have a hunger for continuous improvement.

Being a fast-paced work environment, you need to be organised and come ready to roll up your sleeves and get stuck in!

• You’re a real people person and build long term relationships through a friendly, honest and pragmatic approach.
• Equipped with an understanding of the retail industry / sales finance, and a willingness to learn!
• Solid understanding of compliance and regulatory risks to ensure our retailers are lending responsibly.
• Innovative, continually looking for new business and product opportunities.
• This role has a large training and education component, you will feel comfortable delivering to small groups and fielding questions.

Key to success in this role is pre planning and capturing your daily activity as you go .. . . . stay ahead of the game!
