Position Title: Strategic Partnership & Project Manager
Arts Industry Leader

We are a dynamic arts organisation, Art Pharmacy, fostering artistic endeavours in various sectors. Our commitment to promoting contemporary art through public art commissions, corporate art collections, and strategic initiatives underscores our passion for creativity and innovation.

Position Overview:

The Strategic Partnership & Project Manager plays a pivotal role in our organisation. They are tasked with cultivating new client relationships and spearheading the successful development and execution of diverse projects. The role will also assist the rest of the team in overseeing public art commissions, corporate art collections, and the implementation of strategic public art initiatives, particularly in maintaining and nurturing client relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

Business Development:

  • Sourced and identified new business leads, including grant and tender applications. Must have strong writing and communication skills.
  • Develop fee proposals and quotes for clients. Experience is a must.
  • Conduct face-to-face meetings and present our capabilities to clients. Be a confident speaker.
  • Contribute to overall business strategy growth and development. We love to empower our employees.

Curatorial:

  • Conduct curatorial research and presentation.
  • Source artists suitable for projects and build art strategies for clients.
  • Present artist practices to clients and assist with project write-ups and artist statements.
  • Liaise with artists and their representatives, including galleries and studio managers.
  • Lead concept development with artists for allocated projects and provide practical assistance during installation.

Project Management - Client and Internal:

  • Lead project scoping and proposals, managing client questions and meetings.
  • Oversee document review and manage teams and contractors throughout projects.
  • Handle stakeholder management of client teams and internal staff at all levels.
  • Update work-in-progress documents and manage project timelines and milestones.
  • Review and implement operating practices and supervise lower-level staff.

Client Acquisition KPIs:

  • Propose two new business opportunities per week for the team.
  • Actively source new opportunities, making contact for at least two opportunities per week.
  • Expect to generate revenue after six months in the role.

Reporting Structure:

The Strategic Partnership & Project Manager will report directly to the General Manager and Director and collaborate closely with the leadership team.

Employment Details:

A full-time position, hours are Monday to Friday, 9 am to 5:30 pm, with additional hours required for site visits, networking events, and conferences. The role is subject to a three-month probationary review. A hybrid work model is implemented for remote working days.
