About Coastal Demolitions 

Coastal Demolitions has been around for 5 years, our goal is to be a different demolition company that cares about their customers and the out come of each job. 

We currently perform Commercial & Residential demolition, strip-outs and asbestos removal. 

Within our team currently is room for expansion, we are looking for an A Grade Asbestos Labourer that comes with experience within the industry but willing to learn our way. There is only room for team members that will endeavour to keep our standards high and all of our clients coming back.  Must have relevent Asbestos Removal certificates

Accountability, honesty, able to work unsupervised and a strong work ethic are extremely important for us. No “cowboys”. 

We will provide a full-face mask and all other PPE. 

Students will not be accepted. 

What We Offer

Due to increasing business, we have an opportunity to join our team as an Asbestos Removal Supervisor or Asbestos removal labourer.

The position is full-time for Supervisor and Casual for Labourer and is based off experience and what your able to bring to the company. As part of the wage package Supervisors are provided with a work vehicle and set of tools that must be all maintained in alignment with company policies 

What We are Looking For

People who are approved by WorkSafe Queensland to supervise the removal of Class A and B Asbestos. 

People who value safety and work with caution and care. 

Willingness to do demolition/strip out when there isn't asbestos removal work on is desirable. 

If you are also:

• Have at least 3 years’ experience in Class A and B asbestos removal (Supervisor), (must be certified)
• Have experience in Class A and B asbestos removal. (must be certified).
• Have experience in Demolition.
• Hold a current white card
• Provide checkable references.
• Take responsibility for your actions.
• Understand the importance of completing paperwork correctly.
• Have the ability and motivation to complete hands-on work.
• Are happy for random drug and alcohol testing.
• Want to join a team and help your company succeed.

Supervisor Tasks Include:

• All our Supervisors work on the tools along side the team
• Supervision of all Onsite works 
• Supervision of all Staff OnSite 
• Setting up containments including negative air pressure units and decontamination facilities
• Assisting Managers in planning and organisation
• Interpreting and complying with plans, regulations, and codes of practice
• Coordinating works programs
• Inspecting work for compliance with specifications, regulations, and standards.
