About our opportunity
This position will have you working as part of our Roads and Drains team within our asphalting crews. You will undertake general labouring duties associated road remediation works including edge repairs, road fail rectification works and pot hole patching. Some of the duties including using hand tools and mechanical equipment such as rakes, shovels, vibrating plates and operating the asphalt truck as required.
About you
Ideally you will have demonstrated current or recent experience working within a similar position. You will bring your excellent communication skills, your ability to adapt to a range of technology solutions and ability to work as part of a team. Safety is a key priority for us as an organisation, and we will be seeking candidates who not only have the knowledge and physical ability to safely undertake the manual tasks required in this role, we want you to have a genuine desire to contribute to a positive safety culture.
Paired with the above mentioned skills and experience, you will also hold a current truck licence (minimum medium rigid - MR) and a Construction Induction card.
