We help Lam deliver industry-leading solutions with speed and efficiency, while actively supporting the resilient and profitable growth of Lam\u0027s business.\n\nManufacturing\n\n## The impact you\u2019ll make\n\nAs an Assembler, you play pivotal role in performing assembling related work on wafer fab equipment. This role will require the knowledge of computer-based instructions, hand tools and fixtures usage.\n\n## What you\u2019ll do\n\n * Navigate computer-based work instructions to install parts and hardware using hand tools and fixtures if needed; on wafer fabrication equipment (WFE) in a manufacturing clean-room environment.\n * Work in teams to ensure workflow and production schedule is maintained.\n * Demonstrate flexibility and responsiveness for changing priorities including rework requirements and NPI.\n * Ensure the correct parts are received \u0026 used for assembly processes.\n * Contribute to audits by conducting visual inspection, verifying checklists and performing leak checks as needed. \n * Cross train to multiple work areas (e.g sub-assemblies to PMI, ship prep, etc)\n * Act as a buddy to junior Assemblers when required.\n * Actively involve in continuous improvements/Kaizen to improve work related processes and instructions.\n * Maintain a clean and organized workspace.\n * Consistently exhibit behaviours that aligns with Lam\u2019s core values.\n * Adhere to personal and product safety guidelines by:\n * utilizing appropriate PPE following clean room procedures\n * following Lockout Tagout policies and procedures (LOTO and ZEST)\n * utilizing fixtures (lift hoists, lift track, gantry cranes, lifting tool) to aid in the assembly of tools\n\n\n\n## Who we\u2019re looking for\n\n * Minimum Diploma in any Engineering field\n * 5 - 6 years of related electrical and electronics assembly experience depending on level\n * Effective written and verbal communication skills in English\n * Flexible and responsive to changing priorities including but not limited to rework, overtime and potential limited travel to other Lam/customer facilities\n * Utilize computer-based data systems and applications\n * Proficient in Microsoft Office software (e.g. Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams)\n\n\n\nJob Requirements:\n\n * Work 12hour shifts in fast paced and time-sensitive environment.\n * Squat, kneel, walk, climb, stand and operate in ergonomically- challenging positions for over 50% of time\n * Able to lift up to 35 pounds\n * Perform repetitive motions using hands and various hand tools\n * Distinguish between colours for wire identification\n * Use Hand Tools including but not limited to: Calipers, Circuit tester, Wrenches, Hoists, Ohm meters, Screwdrivers, Torque wrenches, Ladders/platforms, Snipping tools/cutter\n\n\n\n## Our commitment\n\n \n\nWe believe it is important for every person to feel valued, included, and empowered to achieve their full potential. Our hybrid roles combine the benefits of on-site collaboration with colleagues and the flexibility to work remotely and fall into two categories \u2013 On-site Flex and Virtual Flex. \u2018On-site Flex\u2019 you\u2019ll work 3+ days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, with the opportunity to work remotely for the balance of the week. \u2018Virtual Flex\u2019 you\u2019ll work 1-2 days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, and remotely the rest of the time.\n
