About the Role

The purpose of the Asset Finance Manager position is to:

• Drive growth and profitability in the Asset Finance business servicing frontline managers and their customers


• Develop productive relationships with customers and internal stakeholders and proactively offer solutions, products and services to meet their needs


• Deliver a compelling and rewarding customer experience, maintaining and attracting our most valuable customers within the segments


• Job grade is aligned to the complexity of both the customer and their requirements

What will your day look like?

As Asset Finance Manager you will: 

• Drive profitable, sustainable growth of Asset Finance products in Commercial


• Deliver industry expertise through an intrinsic understanding of industry specific customer needs


• Extend excellent customer experience to customers within designated segment, providing quality, timely and precise responses to customers.


• Strengthen and deepen the value of customer relationships by educating customers with key insights on how they can use Asset Finance better


• Maintain composure under adversity and be able to manage multiple transactions concurrently


• Raise the Asset Finance brand and profile through collaboration and customer engagement as well as active engagement with stakeholders and enablers


• Continually develop own capabilities in line with business requirements


• Compliance and adherence with ANZ policies, processes and standards as well as with external regulatory requirements


• Identify risk issues within processes and determine remediation requirements


• Support and provide Asset Finance specialist advice to frontline BB/SI Relationship Managers for all customers (Direct and Broker) within these Segments

What will you bring?

Critical knowledge, skills and experience this role requires are:

• Asset Finance product knowledge


• Financial background with a strong understanding of the Equipment Financing Industry


• Sales and networking experience with relationship building skills and the ability to manage clients


• Previous customer service experience


• Demonstrated sales prospecting skills with a proven track record of achieving/exceeding sales targets/results


• Ability to use initiative and work autonomously in ensuring deadlines are met


• Well-developed verbal and written communication skills with demonstrated computer literacy


• The ability to read and interpret financial data
