Assistant Accountant (AA7527) - with Growth Opportunities

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Assistant Accountant to join our client's team. You will be based in their Springwood office, providing crucial support to their Group Financial Controller and Group Accountant. This role involves managing financial tasks across their three dealerships, with a primary focus on the Springwood location. No travel is required for this position.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports.
• Reconcile accounts and maintain accurate financial records.
• Support budgeting and forecasting activities.
• Process accounts payable and receivable transactions.
• Assist with payroll processing and compliance.
• Collaborate with the accounting team to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
• Participate in month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant regulations.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in the automotive industry is essential.
• Degree in Accounting or Finance is desirable but not mandatory.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
