Assistant Accountant - Hiring Immediately

We are a growing dynamic business looking for someone to take the opportunity to join as an experienced Assistant Accountant.

Who are we looking for?

We are seeking a candidate with all round accounts experience, well versed in accounts payable and receivable and general financial accounting to join our finance team.  Reporting to the Financial Controller, the main responsibilities for this role include:

• Manage client invoicing through our back-office ERP system.
• Full function accounts payable including stock purchases.
• Accounts receivable – you will need to be confident to contact debtors and coordinate payment terms.
• Bank reconciliations.
• Month end assistance.
• Payroll – timesheet management system management.

You will have excellent organisational skills.  We are seeking a motivated candidate that has an eye for detail and will continue to strive for a high standard of execution from all facets of the role.  Be solution focused in finding new and improved ways of working.

Requirements

University qualification in Accounting or Finance.

3+ years relevant accounting experience.

Full working rights.

Experience with MYOB or similar accounting software.

Experience with back-office invoicing systems would be valued.

Strong proficiency with Excel.
