Assistant Accountant - Rewarding Work

Optimus Group Australia, with diversified interests across the vehicles, IT and supply chain including shipping, logistics and new and used vehicles retailing is seeking to appoint an experienced Assistant Accountant to join its Finance team to assist accounting function for subsidiaries in Car Retail.

Responsibilities

Reconcile cost and revenue between systems and intercompany transactions.

Manage day to day accounting responsibilities including journals, AP and AR.

Assist Finance team in completing compliance and reporting requirements.

Post and process invoices.

Track and monitor accounts payable and update daily.

Perform reconciliations and action outstanding items.

Preparation of weekly and monthly reports.

Qualifications

Tertiary Qualifications in Financial disciplines.

Minimum 2 years’ experience in an accounting role, preferably in automobile industry. Use and knowledge of XERO software is an advantage.

Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Proven ability to meet deadlines and enhance efficiency through effective time management.
