Assistant Analyst - Reporting & CRM - Career Growth Potential

IOR is part of the privately owned IOR Group of companies which has been active in the fuel industry for nearly 40 years.  IOR is a vertically integrated fuel group, with interests in oil production assets, a crude oil refinery in far western Queensland and a fuel distribution network of depots and diesel truck stops throughout regional Australia.  

We are seeking applications for the role of Assistant Analyst -CRM & Reporting to be based in our Head Office in Cannon Hill, Brisbane.  The purpose of the Assistant Analyst - CRM & Reporting is to provide support in the development and administration of data sources, with a primary focus on Tableau and Zoho reporting systems. The role will work collaboratively with the Analyst – Sales & CRM, to ensure reporting across departments is up to date and effectively distributed to the necessary stakeholders. This will ensure business units can make effective decisions, track performance, and develop growth strategies.

Key activities of the role will include:

•  Providing ZOHO CRM and Tableau system support across the business (including outside Ground Fuels business unit), 
•  Setting up new users and conducting training and ongoing support 
•  Managing module’s field permissions, layouts and templates. 
•  Managing permissions, groups and access to data sources 
• Collaborating with the Software team to construct, review and publish data sources to ensure data is available for reporting.
• Assisting the Analyst – Sales & CRM in reviewing and categorizing existing Tableau reports.
• Engaging with department heads to understand reporting requirements.

To be successful in this role you will be able to demonstrate the following:

• A high level of ability in numeracy, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Degree qualification in IT, Business, Commerce or Marketing
• A high level of attention to detail
• Ability to identify key performance measures and to analyse patterns and trends.
• A high level of computer literacy/ experience with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel skills (or Tableau)
• Excellent communication skills and ability to present information.
• Strong organisation skills and ability to provide support and training to others.
• Minimum 1-2 years' experience in a similar role within sales, operations or data analysis preferred.
• Industry experience in fuel, retail, supply chain or logistics
