About the company
Karlka Recruiting Group has partnered with a Federal Government Agency to engage an EL1 Assistant Director, Property Engagement and Coordination. This position is located across Australia for an initial contract until 30/06/2025.
  
About the Position
This position is responsible for supporting the delivery of engagement, communication, and quality assurance activities. The successful applicant will demonstrate experience managing response to complex, technical and sensitive government requirements. This includes drafting briefs, correspondence, policies and procedural documentation. The role would be best suited to someone with strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

Duties
  • Contribute to the strategic direction and forward planning of the branch
  • Develop strategic briefing, talking points, submissions, and correspondence
  • Develop internal communication material
  • Develop and implement robust quality assurance strategies, policies, and guidance material, including engaging with stakeholders as required.
  • Provide strategic advice and assistance to the Senior Executives and stakeholders.
  • Undertake general administrative functions to support branch operations.
  • Provide leadership to staff, including coaching staff through ambiguity and developing team capability.
  • Work within established legislative and policy frameworks.
  • Use analytical, interpretive and problem-solving skills.
  • Lead, coach, and mentor staff.

Requirements/Skills
  • Baseline Security Clearance
  • Understanding of Public Governance, Performance and Accountability Act 2013
  • Understanding of The Commonwealth Property Management Framework (desirable).
