A bit about the role: - Manage a client base that consists of businesses of all shapes and sizes; work on advising effective practices with cash flow management, tax planning and other advisory led work for thriving companies ranging from 5-25 million and also get stuck into consolidated groups, listed entities and statutory reporting for some multinationals turning over huge sums of money.
- The work is constantly evolving as the clients grow and have different needs, questions, queries, and complexities, but because of this, your client base is one that changes year on year and therefore you will avoid the repetitive nature of your client list always looking the same.
To be considered: - You will be at a Senior Accountant, Supervisor or Assistant manager level, with 5 years + recent experience in Australian business services and public practice.
- CPA/CA qualification or close to completion.
- Experience mentoring junior staff.
- Experience with a team and portfolio of clients.
- Experience with Xero is desirable but not a necessity.
- Very good interpersonal skills.
- A desire for work-life balance.
- Knowledge/exposure with taxation structures including, Division 7a, CGT, small business concessions and superannuation.
