Assistant Night Manager

Pullman Sydney Airport is located in the centre of Mascot Business Park and is only a short walk from Mascot train station. The 5 star hotel at Sydney Airport brings contemporary style and functional design with a smart open layout and 229 rooms and suites. The hotel delivers a fantastic food and beverage product with Mobius Bar & Grill located on premise - a relaxed and flexible environment, serving in house and external guests.

We are looking for a Full time Assistant Night Manager to work alongside the Night Manager, lead our friendly, dynamic Front Office Team and be responsible for the overnight operation of the hotel.

As the Assistant Night Manager, your tasks and responsibilities will include, but not be limited to;  

• Assisting with check-in and check-out of guests, ensuring all procedures are adhered to
• Fostering strong communication between the Night team and other hotel departments
• Actively resolve guest complaints and challenges to high levels of satisfaction
• Provide guidance, supporting training and leading the team
• Take responsibility for the night audit function alongside the Night Manager, ensuring that all auditing income and revenue reporting are collated to a high level of accuracy.
• Being on top of controlling costs such as wages, expenses etc.
• Own the process of setting, implementing and reviewing service standards for the night team 

We’re looking for someone who is;  

• Guest Obsessed and Resilient in nature – no problem or task is too great!
• A fantastic communicator with the ability to initiate conversations with guests and team members
• Experienced in a similar role or environment
• Experienced in Fidelio or Opera PMS, hotSOS is highly preferred 
• A current valid NSW RSA or ability to obtain
• A night owl - working overnights (10.30pm – 6.30am) and the flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and Public Holidays as per business demands
• Able to work in Australia (full unlimited working rights) - no sponsorship available for this position
