The role
Charlestown Square is the largest shopping and entertainment destination in Newcastle and the Hunter region. The Assistant Operations Manager of this asset is responsible for ensuring the Centre is safe, secure and meets presentation standards to achieve desired customer and tenant satisfaction levels. The role also assists the Operations Manager maximise operational efficiency and increasing the return on investment whilst prudently managing risk.
The role actively participates in contractor management, environmental sustainability management, risk management, tenancy delivery and retailer engagement, centre management and national property operations.

This opportunity would suit a highly motivated and professional facilities manager or assistant facilities manager with strong operational experience of a large property asset.
You will need to demonstrate a good understanding of Building Codes, Australian Standards, OHS/WHS and Legislation, Essential Services of Authority and Statutory Requirements. In addition, strong commercial acumen and financial management, with experience with budgeting and forecasting; are also required for this position.
A dedication to exceptional customer service, a proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to multi-task will enable you to excel in this role.
