This is a 12-month Full-time contract position with hybrid work arrangements.

About the role

As an Assistant Payroll Officer, you will be providing important services in first level customer support and administration for Estia employees. Essentially you will be the face of Payroll and set the standards across the team.

The core foundational expertise and skills you will bring to this role:

• You will be the primary contact for all telephone calls and emails through to the Payroll Service Centre.
• Provide first level payroll and administrative support, e.g. pay inquiries, investigating issues, and providing resolutions.
• Provide timely and customer focused response to clients and escalating queries to second level support.
• Creating, monitoring, categorising and assigning of Service Management cases.
• Payroll data entry and administration.
• Other duties as required for the role.

The traits that will help you succeed

• Excellent customer service, interpersonal and communication skills.
• Attention to detail and be adaptable to multi-tasking.
• Experience working within a high volume payroll or customer service environment.
• Ability to work tight deadlines.
• Knowledge of EBA’s and award interpretation would be advantageous.
• Chris21 or Human force experience would be advantageous.
